As Vice President of Hourigan’s Hampton Roads Business Unit, Bart Dexter brings more than 14 years of construction industry experience and deep expertise in integrated project delivery. Known for his steady leadership and clear communication, Bart strengthens client relationships while keeping teams aligned on what matters most: delivering exceptional results on time and on budget. He exemplifies Hourigan’s commitment to excellence through a collaborative, team-first approach and a strong focus on meeting—and exceeding—client expectations.

Bart holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business from Randolph-Macon College and is certified in OSHA 30 Construction Training and as a Responsible Land Distributor.

A native of the Hampton Roads region, Bart has witnessed, and contributed to, the growth that has shaped the area over the years, including the evolving Virginia Beach skyline. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and stays actively involved in their lives by coaching youth sports.
