Tyler Park (Assistant Project Manager) spoke at the 2016 Living Future Conference in Seattle. “How to Set Up Your General Contractor for Success on a LBC Project” was a joint presentation with Janet Harrison (J. Harrison, Architect), Emily Naud (GCI General Contractors) and Eileen Quigley (Natural Resources Defense Council). The presentation focused on exploring how the general contractor’s role needs to adapt for a LBC project, especially one pursuing the Materials Petal. The Brock Environmental Center was also awarded its official Living Building Challenge certification at the conference!
