VCU SHIFT RETAIL LAB

Overview

The VCU Shift Retail Lab was a 2,600-sf tenant improvement project that renovated an unoccupied storefront located in the ground floor of VCU’s Grace and Broad Residence Center into a retail space for VCU’s da Vinci Center for Innovation. The da Vinci Center is an innovation and entrepreneurship incubator that promotes student projects and start-ups through cross-discipline collaboration. The renovated retail space officially launched as the Shift Retail Lab in the Fall of 2021. Shift is the first ever retail space where student entrepreneurs can market their own products and initiatives to get real-time feedback from the general public. Learn more here.
