VCU STEM

Overview

Constructed on the site of the former Franklin Street Gym, the five-story, 100,000 SF+ VCU STEM Facility concentrates undergrad-level innovative teaching laboratories for chemistry, biology and physics, student study spaces; innovative spaces for applied mathematics instruction; interactive spaces for psychology; and exhibit spaces for anthropology. The goal of this project is to integrate these varied disciplines as well as foster collaboration and interactions between disciplines, students and instructors. 

2024 awarded LEED Gold Certification.
