The Cavalier Daily recently highlighted progress on Aggarwal Hall, the future home of the UVA Alumni Association. Hourigan is managing the construction of the approximately 50,000 square foot facility, which is design to serve as a welcoming hub for generations of University alumni. With the exterior envelope of Aggarwal Hall nearing completion and interior work progressing, the project remains on track for a spring 2027 opening.

Sustainability has also been an important focus throughout the project, with the goal being to build something that would last for another 100 years. Aggarwal Hall is currently positioned as a strong candidate for LEED Silver certification, with plans to include solar panels to help offset it’s energy use, and maintain a number of mature trees throughout the property.
