— 1 min read
The University of Virginia has selected a design-build team for a new student residential complex on its Charlottesville grounds. The university named Capstone Development Partners as developer, partnering with Elkus Manfredi Architects and the Hoar Construction/Hourigan team.
The three-building, 310,000-square-foot project will provide apartment-style housing for approximately 780 students and include about 19,000 square feet of dining and retail space. Completion is planned for the fall 2027 semester.
Hourigan will serve as part of the construction team on the university-funded project, which supports UVA’s ongoing efforts to expand and enhance the student residential experience.
