Virginia ENT Expands Westward with New Chesterfield Office Built by Hourigan
— 2 min read
Virginia Ear, Nose and Throat Associates (Virginia ENT) is preparing to open the doors to its new Chesterfield location—an expansive, next-generation medical office situated at 15350 East West Road, just steps from the Westchester Commons corridor. The new space, constructed with Hourigan as the general contractor for the interior build-out, positions the practice to serve the rapidly growing western region of Chesterfield County.
With the lease ending at its long-standing Wadsworth Drive office, Virginia ENT selected a site nearly nine miles west to remain aligned with shifting population trends. “The center of gravity of Chesterfield has moved to the west,” said CEO Steve Gooch, noting the area’s strong demographic growth.
A Purpose-Built, Patient-Centered Facility
The practice has taken over 21,000 square feet of the newly constructed building—double the size of its former Chesterfield office—with an additional 9,000 square feet available for phased future expansion. Construction on the building shell was led by KBS, with the design by Walter Parks Architects, and the interior space designed by PSH+.
The new office introduces several enhanced capabilities, including:
- A first-ever walk-in clinic offering same-day appointments for urgent ENT needs
- Expanded audiology services
- Vertigo and balance physical therapy
- Aesthetic treatment services, including Botox and related procedures
Designed to support growing patient volumes and a broadened care model, the clinic also allows Virginia ENT to add up to eight new providers across its network.
A Strategic Location Within a Growing Medical Hub
Located in a bustling healthcare district near the Route 288/Midlothian Turnpike interchange, the facility sits alongside Bon Secours’ Westchester Medical Park and OrthoVirginia, with additional hotel development planned nearby. The property is owned by Watkins Center MOB LLC, an entity partially controlled by Virginia ENT.
The building is expected to reach full completion in the coming weeks, with Virginia ENT targeting early December to begin operations in the new space.
