This 4-story, 102,000 SF academic classroom building serves as a general classroom facility in support of undergraduate education at VCU. The LEED Gold facility houses the administrative and faculty offices of the School of Social Work and the Department of English. The western wing of the building is a 1-1/2 story auditorium and forms an exterior courtyard in the center of the block. The mix of classrooms includes one 400-seat lecture hall, one 200-seat classroom, three 150-seat classrooms, and five 80-seat classrooms.

LEED Gold certification was reached in part by sourcing regionally manufactured products, using materials made with at least 20% recycled content, reducing stormwater runoff with the use of a green roof and using materials that lower the quantity of indoor air contaminants.
